About Pollypot

Good recommendations
come with a reason.

Pollypot is building a place for community sourced social recommendations: useful suggestions, clear context, and a way to check the details before you choose.

Our starting collection

The guides and reviews currently on Pollypot are written by our editors. We have not labeled them as community submissions. When we publish a community contribution, we will identify its source and distinguish the contributor’s experience from our editorial advice.

What our guides do

Each guide starts with a real decision, explains what to compare, and ends with a short checklist. We link to official providers so you can check the details that change, including availability, prices and purchase conditions.

How we write

We distinguish planning advice from factual claims about a service. Official sources support product details. We do not claim to have tested a product unless we actually have, and we do not publish invented ratings, testimonials or discounts.

How links work

Some links may be affiliate links. When a link can earn us a commission, we label it near the link. The site is independently operated; appearing here does not imply that a brand endorses Pollypot.
